“Gamilaraay Voices” project at Winanga-Li
Over the last week a team from the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra has been visiting Winanga-Li as part of a joint project gathering background information for the Gamilaraay language courses at the university and online. Hilary, Fred and John have been collecting stories from the Winanga-Li family and friends in Gunnedah, Quirindi and Moree (this photo is of Barry Sampson and Kylie Benge at the Dhiiyaan Centre in Moree).
Maarubaa, a big thank you to all those who have taken part!

What a great opportunity for our Aboriginal Women.
As some of you may of noticed we have some work going on out the front of our centre. The carpark is still open but as of tomorrow morning you will only be able to access the centre through the small gate out the front. This will be for the next few weeks while the new path is completed.
any questions please feel free to talk to us!
Thanks :)Image attachmentImage attachment
